Having a presence online does not need to be complicated or intimidating. Often times choosing a domain name to represent your business can be the toughest part. With just your business name and a general description of your industry we can suggest several available domain names for your company.
Domain Name: After your website has been designed (or shortly before completion), we will purchase or initiate transferring your domain name. If we are transferring your domain name from another provider, please keep in mind that any hosting, email accounts and all other services connected to existing domain names will NOT transfer. We include one domain name registration with our website packages. Each additional domain name managed is $20.00 per year.
We do not require registering or transferring your domain name but we do recommend it for simplicity. If you choose to manage your domain name yourself, instructions for redelegating the servers associated with the domain name will be sent once the website hosting has been established. We do not provide customer assistance with registrars for this redelegation. Any questions would need to be asked directly to the domain name registrar.
Your domain name is safe with us! We monitor our registered domain names to ensure they do not expire and lock them for security. If you should ever want to manage your domain name with another registrar just let us know and we will send instructions on transferring the domain name or changing the domain account owner. We manage your domain address, but you retain the rights to your name!
Email Accounts (POP3)*: POP3 (Post Office Protocol 3) is the most recent version of a standard protocol for receiving email. POP3 is a client/server protocol in which email is received and held for you by your internet server. We are offering one FREE POP3 personal email account with website packages. Larger email packages are available. Please see our package pricing for details.
Email Forwarding*: Email Forwarding redirects email from one email address to another email address. This service is great for clients who want to continue using their personal email, but would like a more business-identified address for their clients to reference. The downfall of email forwarding is that replies to forwarded messages will show your personal email address as the sender. This services is free for all of our website clients.
Web Based Email*: Web Based Email is used when logging into an email account online with a username and password to check and create email messages. This service is free for all of our email clients. Please contact us for instructions on accessing your email account through your browser.
