We are excited to have the opportunity to work with authors on their book cover design needs. Book cover designs are custom created based on photographic elements and illustrations by a Photoshop artist with more than 12 years of experience. Author input is invaluable. We ask opinions and make changes along the way to achieve the results your book deserves.
We do not license our book cover designs or charge royalties. Once the work is complete we will email files, or if needed, mail the book cover design files on CD. We also supply a list of the photography and illustrations used on the book cover design so that our clients can purchase the rights to use this artwork in the future or for different projects.
Our book cover design fee is $80.00 per hour. This fee is billed in 15 minute ($20.00) increments. Simple book cover designs or interior page layout can often be done for as little as $20.00 to $40.00.
Typically, front and full book cover design will range from $80.00 to $240.00 depending upon time spent and the complexity of the design. This fee reflects books/ebooks that are printed or distributed less then 250,000 times. If more copies will be made, we need to purchase extended licensing for any photography or artwork used. Book cover design is a non-refundable service. A $80.00 deposit is required on most book cover orders and must be prepaid before work will begin. Please see our payment link for payment options.
Service Time: First book cover design proof created in 4-5 business days. Additional book cover design proofs can add 1-3 business days of service time.
